Oh, sorry, Xmas. I didn't mean to deeply offend all the atheists out there, including myself. WTF is up with those people who get offended when people tell them to have a merry Christmas? Don't freak out on someone for being merry... What is up with the name Xmas anyway?
Okay, rant over. Anyway, may all you out there have a great Christma-Hanna-Rama-Kadana- Kwanza. All you Roy Zimmerman fans, you know what I'm talking about.

Holy Hoocha!
D O O M 3
An insanely great game! I have just downloaded the demo, but already it's insanely fun. It's probably the first horror fps I've played in my life, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I know it came out a couple years ago, but the graphics are still pretty good for nowadays. And, as those who have gotten to know me know, I tend to judge games mainly on gameplay and less on graphics, so this is the perfect game for me. I hope to purchase the full game soon, because it is vurreh uber. Once again, this is Jimbo, signing off.

Viva Yosemite!
Ah, Yosemite. Possibly the most beautiful place on Earth. I went there last weekend, right after Thanksgiving, but I haven't had access to the photos until recently.

This is gorgeous Half Dome, the most classic feature of Yosemite. My family and I didn't venture so far as to scale the face of this great rock, because that would require expensive equipment, steely nerve, highly trained bodies, and water-proof pants for when we look down the rock face at the ground below. I forget the lore behind the image on the face of Half Dome. It was something about a Native American woman's abusive husband and her face becoming Half Dome. I forget.

On the first day, we hiked up to Vernal Falls. It was a relatively short hike, about 4.5 miles, and the view was fantastic. If any of the millions of my fans go to Yosemite, I highly recommend checking his place out, just for the experience.

Frankencomputer shall rise!
Yes, I know that Dr. Frankenstein was the creator and not the monster, but that is unimportant. The main drawback of playing Orange Box games on my computer is that... well, laptops are not supreme gaming computers. Toss in the fact that I got my computer for free, and I'm lucky I can play Spiderman on this dinosaur. Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 Episode 1 actually do run on this computer, but with fps ranging from 2 on especially laggy scenes to about 25 on a good day. Half-Life 2 Episode 2 quits out before the screen un-blurs, Team Fortress 2 gives me the Blue Screen Of Doom after a bit of gameplay on duel_duel2 and won't even let me on any other levels, and Portal freezes when the first portal opens up after one minutes and forty seconds of gameplay. So, as you can guess, I am pretty fed up. After a bit of looking for desktop computers on Craigslist and complaining to my friends about high prices, they came upon this decision. Provided I provide the funds, they would construct a computer using only soil and raw eggs. Well, actually using parts bought off Nueg, but you get the picture. I highly anticipate this SUPERCOMPUTER OF EPIC PROPORTIONS. Whatever it is, it'll be better than my laptop. This is Jimbo, signing off.

Half-Life 2 has been beaten!
Hooray! The marvelous game of Half-Life 2 has been beaten by me, myself and I. And I have to say, the ending was very satisfying. Kudos to Valve for that little number. As of yesterday, I hae begun the sequel to Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1. Another excellent game. I have yet to test out Episode 2, but I have heard from reliable sources that it is very entertaining, especially the gnome launch. Half-Life 2 Lost Coast was fun, but over too quickly. Some of the developer commentary was enleetening, though. This is Jimbo, signing off.

All good things must come to an end...
I have given up on the world... of Warcraft. I have given myself about half a month to settle out my affairs, but I am most definitely through with the accursed game for good now. I now move on to bigger and better things. Those of you who have quit WoW, you know it is fairly humorous. At the top of the screen, it shows a teary-eyed ogre, and it tells you that the peon is crying because you are quitting. It then asks you why you are quitting. Under the option "quitting for another game", it list a number of failed MMO's that noone plays, such as Dark Age of Camelot, Lineage 2, Matrix Online(lol), Star Wars Galaxies, etc. Then, once you select a reason, it tells you that the peon is full-on weeping, and that Blizzard hopes you're happy. Please, Blizzard, we wouldn't quit the game unless we had thought it through, and a sobbing peon is not going to guilt us into staying.

And in the red corner, the orange box.
Yes, the orange box, with its magical goodness and special wonderful specialness. HL2, HL2 episode 1 and 2, HL2 Lost Coast, Peggle Extreme, Portal, and Team Fortess 2. A plethora of games, for only $50. AND IT'S ALL MINE!!! Unfortunately, my laptop is not über enough to even think about running Half-Life 2 or any of the other games on full graphics, but even on the lowest setting, they're damn fun. I have yet to try out TF2 or Portal, as I have been absorbed by HL2. Bioshock might be a purchase in the future, but for now, seven games should keep meh satisfied.

The knub has landed!
Greetings, my fellow nubkins, and welcome. On this site, feel free to discuss any blemishes on your über personality, because I know how you feel. I my self admit to being a nub. But we are people too. On this site, we will rise up, and pwn the über ones in their collective faces. POWER TO ALL NUBKIND!
My gaming history has been thus: I was sucked in to the extremely addictive World of Warcraft. It had me in its icy grip for about a year and a half. This was when I got pretty damn bored. As most people know, leveling in the 50's in WoW is about as fun as watching boulders decompose. At this point, I had had enough. FPS's had much more allure than before, and Peggle became a regular pastime of mine. I still play World of Warcraft, but much less often. Recently, I looked at my /played, and was surprised by how much time the game had sucked out of my life. My advice: please, take WoW in moderation.
